Public Safety Fractal Antenna Hits New Price Point

Waltham, MA - October 1, 2009 - Fractal Antenna Systems, Inc. today announced new pricing on its flagship wideband indoor wireless antenna, the UACM. An immediate hit in the indoor wireless and public safety sectors, the antenna combines 'one replaces many' service universality with a low profile form factor.

The new prices for the antenna start at $199 USD in quantities of 25 or more. "This means the quality and performance benefits of the UACM are now accessible to all of our customers," said FRACTAL Vice President, Jane Winter. Previously, the introductory price of $345 meant many System Integrators buying large quantities had to choose between performance and cost. With higher productivity and economies of scale, the firm can now pass along the savings.

Since its inception in 2006, the UACM antenna has been installed in schools, universities; office buildings; apartments; hospitals; government buildings; factories; police and fire stations; and elsewhere. It is preferred because it incorporates commercial needs with public safety bands for use in emergencies, and thus helps meet many public safety mandates.
